Position Overview
Hillebrand Gori is seeking a commercially driven logistics leader to build and grow our business line in the US, focused on beverage packaging, ingredients, and non-alcoholic beverages. This is a high-impact commercial growth role for someone who enjoys developing new markets, building strategic customer relationships, shaping go-to-market strategy, and partnering closely with sales teams to turn opportunity into profitable business. The role will initially focus on the US market, with the opportunity to expand into a broader Americas scope as the business grows. While there is not currently a dedicated team in New Jersey, this person will work closely with the local sales organization, country leadership, pricing teams, and regional/global stakeholders to build the commercial engine for this growing category.

The selected candidate will help define where Hillebrand Gori can win in beverage packaging, ingredients, and non-alcoholic beverage markets, create the commercial roadmap, and support execution across target customers and sales channels.

Key Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Market Development
• Develop and execute the US commercial growth strategy for beverage packaging, ingredients, and non-alcoholic beverages. • Identify market opportunities, customer segments, and priority accounts where Hillebrand Gori can expand its footprint. • Create local value propositions, sales playbooks, and go-to-market approaches tailored to customer and market needs. • Assess market trends, customer requirements, and competitive dynamics to continuously refine the commercial approach.
Business Development & Customer Growth
• Drive new business development initiatives in partnership with the local sales team. • Support customer acquisition and retention across strategic accounts and growth opportunities. • Engage senior decision-makers within customer organizations and build long-term commercial relationships. • Lead or support key commercial negotiations, ensuring alignment with company guidelines and profitability expectations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner closely with sales, pricing, country leadership, regional teams, and global stakeholders to execute growth plans. • Clarify priorities, roles, and responsibilities across teams to ensure strong execution and accountability. • Promote Hillebrand Gori’s positioning as a specialist logistics partner for new market expansion markets. • Contribute to the evolution of the role from a US-focused mandate toward future Americas growth potential.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for a commercially minded logistics professional who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution. The ideal candidate has experience building customer relationships, developing new businesses, and influencing internal stakeholders in a matrix environment.
Must-Have Experience
• 7+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, or supply chain services. • Strong background in commercial leadership, business development, sales, or strategic account management. • Proven ability to develop customers, identify growth opportunities, and convert strategy into commercial results. • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, pricing, operations, leadership, and external customers. • Strong negotiation, executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Nice-to-Have Experience
• Ocean freight experience. • Exposure to beverages, liquids, packaging, ingredients, FMCG, food & beverage, or related logistics markets is a plus, but not required. • Regional, multi-state, or multi-country commercial experience. • Experience launching or scaling a new product, vertical, business line, or customer segment. • Prior experience working in a matrixed global organization.
Work Setup & Compensation
• Edison, New Jersey, USA • Hybrid, 3 days per week in the office • Initially US-focused, with potential to grow into a broader Americas scope as the business develops • Target total compensation approximately USD 100,000–150,000, based on experience and internal review • Domestic travel as required
