About this role
As a 2D Character and Infographic Animator, you will design and animate engaging, character-driven educational content using Adobe After Effects and the Adobe Creative Suite while collaborating with the team.
Create character-driven explainer videos on computer science and computer engineering topicsAnimate company mascot character (Korra) including lip sync, facial expressions, body movement, gestures, and hovering/floating movementsCreate Korra overlays for screencast/tutorial videos (floating, pointing at key elements)Create infographic animations including icons, flowcharts, diagrams, data visualizations, text animations, and transitionsProduce animated B-roll for talking head videosCreate short-form vertical video animations for social media (Instagram Reels, TikTok)Create animated graphics for STEM/Robotics/AI newscast videosCollaborate with the Founder (Subject Matter Expert) to visualize technical conceptsMaintain organized project files for team handoffs
Requirements
Relevant experience with character animation and infographic animation.Experience with the following technologiesAdobe After EffectsAdobe IllustratorAdobe PhotoshopAdobe Premiere ProCharacter rigging tools:Duik Ángela, Rubberhose, or similarJoysticks ‘n Sliders (for facial animation and lip sync)Infographic animation tools:SonduckFilm templates or similarExcellent English communication skills, both written and verbalCan effectively collaborate and communicate with the teamWillingness to work in a startup environment
