About the RoleWe're looking for a hands-on, strategic, technically sharp operator who can own and scale Cambly's SEO/AEO program, manage our worldwide organic social media presence, build the playbook for turning search content into social loops, and lead a global UGC strategy - all in an AI native way.

You'll take over an existing global SEO/AEO content plan — 261 pages of localized content across Japan, Turkey, Korea, Brazil, Arabic (KSA), and China — and manage its ongoing execution, optimization, and expansion using AI tools at every stage of the workflow. You'll also own Cambly's global organic social media presence, consolidating regional accounts into a cohesive worldwide strategy. From there, you'll design the loop between search and social — repurposing SEO/AEO content into short-form video, social posts, and community threads that drive traffic back to our pages. Finally, you'll define and lead our worldwide UGC strategy, activating students and tutors as content creators across platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Naver, and local social networks.

This is a true program management role with end to end, worldwide, ownership over the initiatives above. You will be responsible for defining localization strategies and measurement systems for them and especially driving direct revenue through them.

This role reports into the Consumer Marketing team and works cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Creative and Performance.

ResponsibilitiesAI-Powered SEO/AEO Program Management (~35%)

Own and operate Cambly's global SEO/AEO content pipeline, across 6 markets built on a hub-and-spoke architecture (hub pages, pillar pages, and cluster pages per market)

Use AI tools (LLMs, programmatic content generation, AI-assisted keyword research) to produce, localize, and optimize SEO/AEO content at scale — managing the full workflow from keyword research through content creation, translation, and publishing

Maintain and evolve the master keyword database (2,800+ keywords across markets) and market-specific content plans, using data from tools like DataForSEO, Ahrefs, and Google Search Console

Coordinate with Engineering on AI setup for technical SEO/AEO implementation: hreflang tags, canonical strategy, URL architecture, XML sitemaps, and page indexing across localized subpaths (e.g., cambly.com/ja/, cambly.com/tr/)

Coordinate SEO/AEO influencer content program — working with influencers to produce evergreen, keyword-optimized content (tutorials, reviews, how-tos) that builds backlinks and domain authority across JP/KR/TR/BR/CN markets (2+ posts/month per market)

Track and report on organic search performance by market, setting measurable goals and producing monthly reports on rankings, traffic, and conversions

Worldwide Organic Social Media Management (~25%)

Own Cambly's global organic social media strategy and day-to-day management across all markets

Lead the consolidation of regional social accounts (e.g., multiple Instagram accounts) into a unified global presence with localized content approaches (hashtags, playlists, market-specific messaging)

Ensure account setups and content are ready for automated AI translations to optimize for global distribution

Develop and maintain a global content calendar across platforms: Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X/Twitter, and market-specific platforms (Naver for Korea, WeChat/RED for China)

Manage YouTube expansion strategy — growing Cambly's video presence with evergreen and episodic content

Coordinate with Copywriter, Designer, and Video Editor to produce platform-native social content that matches local market tone and norms

Build community management frameworks for each market, establishing engagement practices, response protocols, and brand voice guidelines

Track, analyze, and report on organic social performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth, referral traffic) across all markets

SEO/AEO → Social Loops (~20%)

Design and execute a "social loop" strategy that repurposes SEO/AEO content into social media formats — turning blog posts, pillar pages, and cluster content into short-form videos, carousels, and social threads that link back to Cambly's SEO/AEO pages

Build repeatable, AI-assisted workflows for social content production: using AI to generate scripts, captions, hashtag strategies, and posting schedules from existing SEO/AEO content

Develop market-specific social loop playbooks that map which SEO/AEO content types convert best into which social formats for each platform and region

Measure social-to-site traffic loops end to end — tracking how social engagement drives organic page visits, and how SEO/AEO pages drive social follows/shares, creating a sustainable organic funnel

Partner with Video Editor and creative teams to produce short-form video (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) derived from high-performing SEO/AEO content

Global UGC Strategy (~20%)

Define and lead Cambly's worldwide user-generated content strategy in the context of seeding social proof in relevant channels, activating students and tutors as content creators

Build UGC content frameworks: student testimonials, tutor spotlights, lesson highlights, language learning journeys, and "before/after" progress stories

Create UGC toolkits and guidelines for creators across markets — providing templates, prompts, and incentive structures that make it easy for users to create and share content

Identify and cultivate micro-influencers and power users in each market who can amplify Cambly's presence on local platforms

Develop a system for sourcing, curating, and redistributing organic and paid UGC across Cambly's owned channels (social accounts, blog, email, in-app)

Outline measurable UGC goals — tracking content volume, engagement, reach, and attribution to signups/conversions

Requirements (Must-Haves)5+ years of experience in SEO/AEO, content strategy, or digital marketing with a proven track record of building and scaling organic programs across multiple markets

Hands-on experience or incredibly high learning appetite to use AI tools for workflow optimizations and content production — you've actually used LLMs, AI writing assistants, or programmatic content generation in a professional SEO/AEO workflow (not just "familiarity")

Familiarity with international markets in APAC, MENA, or LATAM — particularly Japan, Korea, Turkey, or Saudi Arabia and experience with localization.

Demonstrated expertise in technical SEO/AEO: hreflang, canonical tags, site architecture, internal linking, and working with engineering teams on implementation

Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and content formats across multiple countries and cultures — with experience managing global or multi-market social accounts

Experience developing content strategies that drive measurable business results (traffic, signups, revenue)

Experience managing agencies, freelancers, or content teams to produce work at scale

Proficiency with analytics and SEO/AEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, DataForSEO, or similar) and ability to translate data into strategy

Excellent project management skills — you can run multiple workstreams across markets simultaneously

Compensation Package

$120,000-$160,000 USD Base Salary + Pre-IPO Stock Options
