Key Responsibilities:
Component Ownership:Lead design and release of Front & rear doorsLead design DiW & SealingsEnsure designs meet functional, aesthetic, durability, and regulatory requirementsEngineering Execution:Lead the design & development activities according to automotive design practicesManage change control through PLM systemsSupplier Interface:Work closely with suppliers on tooling feasibility, material selection, and manufacturing processesSupport DFMEA, DVP&R activities with suppliersProgram Delivery:Track and meet program timing, cost, and quality targetsResolve technical issues promptly and escalate risks as neededCross-Functional Collaboration:Coordinate with structures, foam, trim, and JIT teams to ensure seamless integration of plastic componentsSupport launch readiness and plant build events Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mecanical Engineering, or related fieldMinimum of 2 years in automotive Doors & Sealings design and development (preferably doors)Strong knowledge of Vehicule devellopementFamiliarity with automotive standards and validation processesExperience with GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysisStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and supplier management abilities Languages: French and English – required
