About this role
We are currently recruiting a Micro Analyst to join our site in Ballytivnan, Sligo. The Micro Analyst is required to perform microbiological testing within GMP and GLP standards in our global pharmaceutical company.
A snapshot of your key responsibilities as a Micro Analyst would be:
Maintain and align with Laboratory Documentation and Computerized Systems Data Integrity requirementsUnderstand Regulations and business processes required to maintain Laboratory Data IntegrityCarry out environmental and product microbiological tests as requiredDefine and update procedures for plant relative to microbiological and environmental testing.Complete validation of equipment and test methods for microbiological testsTest method transfer of microbiological methodsDevelop microbiological laboratory proceduresMaintain up-to-date and detailed records of all tests performedAdheres to and supports all EHS & E standards, procedures and policies. Third level qualification in microbiology required or equivalent science discipline.A good knowledge of aseptic processes' manipulation together with experience within a GLP/GMP environment and knowledge of current EU/FDA/ICH/HPRA guidelines.Experience in industry is desirable.
