About this role
• Leading and mentoring the accounts payable team to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and vendor management.
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining AP policies and procedures aligned with pharma industry regulations (e.g., TDS, SOX, NPPA, Statutory compliances).
• Driving process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and internal controls.
• Ensuring compliances with Indian pharmaceutical regulations related to Health care professionals, financial standards, and internal company protocols.
• Coordinating and facilitating internal, external, and statutory audits, including readiness, documentation, and issue resolution.
• Overseeing regulatory filing for Department of Pharma related to financial data submission • Handling escalations for complex AP or compliance issues, and reporting key KPIs to senior leadership.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Procurement, Finance, Tax, and IT teams.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Indian pharma regulations, evolving audit standards, and best practices.
The person will be responsible for ensuring all finance related submissions for pharma regulations and compliances such as DOP, UCPMP code & Various tax assessment cases related to income tax audit for PTP area. Person will also take major lead in ensuring proper internal control & closure of statutory audit with EY.
