Academic Fields OR Professional Certifications: Masters in Finance/Economics/Business/Engineering/Public Policy or ACCA/ACMA Conditions: - Experience in investment banking, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), valuation, and restructuring is preferred. - International qualifications/experience and recent experience in similar-level positions in other organizations are preferred. Job Description: - Analyze existing privatization frameworks and propose reforms to improve transparency, efficiency, and business facilitation. - Conduct comprehensive assessments of public sector entities to identify, evaluate, and prioritize privatization opportunities. - Develop performance metrics, benchmarks, and governance frameworks aligned with best practices in privatization and deregulation. - Undertake financial modeling and business analysis to support transaction structuring and strategic decision-making. - Prepare and review policy briefs, analytical notes, and submissions for Cabinet-level and senior government decision-making. - Oversee preparation of progress reports, policy submissions, and strategic presentations for Cabinet and senior forums. - Lead inter-ministerial coordination with regulators, advisors, and internal teams to support effective execution of strategic initiatives. - Provide analytical and operational inputs on privatization, restructuring, deregulation, and regulatory reforms. - Support evaluation of bids and formulation of recommendations in line with approved criteria, transparency, and due process. - Coordinate with multilateral and bilateral development partners on privatization, governance, and sector reform initiatives. - Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and support leadership directives through solution-oriented follow-up. - Perform any other duties assigned by the competent authority.
