About this role
The following shall be qualification and experience of members. -A journalist registered with any press club of Pakistan, having not less than ten years of experience, with known professional competence in his field, and minimum qualification of a bachelor's degree inhumanities or journalism, recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. -A software engineer with a minimum qualification of a bachelor's degree in software engineering or an allied subject recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan having not less than ten years of experience, An advocate with a minimum qualification of a bachelor's degree in law recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan having not less than ten years of experience as practicing advocate. - A social media professional with a minimum qualification of a bachelor's degree in an associated subject recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan with ten year of experience in the online and civil rights space and a private sector entrepreneur with minimum qualification of a bachelor's degree recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and having not less than ten years field experience. -The Chairman and members shall serve full-time and shall not hold any other office or position during their tenure in the Council. The Chairman and members shall be entitled to remuneration and other perks and privileges equivalent to the maximum of the Special Professional Pay Scale-I (SPPS-I) of the Federal Government. - The Ex Officio members shall be entitled to a fee amounting to Seventy-five thousand Rupees for attending meeting of the Council. -Age shall not exceed fifty-eight years at the time of initial appointment - Only shortlisted candidates shall be called for interview. -No TA / DA will be admissible for the test / interview. - Detailed Job Description & Terms and Conditions of Service can be downloaded from Ministry's website i.e. www.interior.gov.pk.
