About this role

Experience- -Minimum 18 years of cumulative relevant experience in corporate finance, investment analysis, acquisitions & mergers, and strategic planning, preferably within leading organizations in the public or private sector. -Proven expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and business analytics to support strategic and policy decision-making. - Demonstrated experience in engaging with ministries, regulators, and international Financial institutions, including the preparation of policy briefs, investor presentations, and transaction pitch decks. - At least 3–5 years of experience in leading strategic functions in a reputed organization preferably in an equivalent role within a major public sector or policy institution - The duration of articleship or equivalent professional training will be considered as part of the required relevant experience. Education- Fellow member of ICAP/ICMAP/CIMA, or MPhil/PhD with specialization in strategy, public policy, analysis and planning Details- -Analyse existing privatization frameworks and propose reforms to enhance transparency, business facilitation, and operational efficiency. -Conduct comprehensive assessments of public sector entities to identify and prioritize opportunities for privatization. -Develop performance metrics, benchmarks, and governance frameworks aligned with best practices in deregulation and privatization. -Undertake financial modeling and business analysis to support transaction structuring and strategic decision-making. -Develop and review high-quality policy briefs and analytical submissions to inform leadership and decision-making at the Cabinet level. -Oversee the development of progress reports, policy submissions, and strategic presentations for the Cabinet and other senior government forums, ensuring analytical rigor and alignment with approved privatization programs. -Lead inter-ministerial coordination to ensure alignment among regulators, transaction advisors, and internal teams for effective execution of strategic initiatives. -Provide operational and analytical inputs on matters related to privatization, restructuring, deregulation, and regulatory processes, ensuring policy coherence, institutional coordination, and timely resolution of implementation issues. -Contribute to the evaluation of bids and formulation of recommendations for consideration by the Cabinet, ensuring adherence to established criteria, transparency, and due process. -Coordinate with multilateral and bilateral development partners to align privatization and policy initiatives with ongoing program assistance, technical cooperation, and sectoral reform objectives. -Support the design and implementation of policy-based lending or programmatic assistance initiatives with development partners, integrating privatization, governance, and institutional reform priorities. -Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and support the Chairman’s directives through proactive follow-up and solution-oriented inputs. - Lead the formulation of strategic presentations, investment pitches, and briefing materials for leadership engagements, investor outreach, and international development forums.
