About this role

Experience- -Minimum 20 years of cumulative relevant professional experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, investment advisory, valuations, transaction structuring, or privatization. - Proven track record in large-scale transactions within the real estate, financial, industrial, or state-owned enterprise (SOE) sectors. - Demonstrated expertise in real estate and infrastructure investments, including asset development, joint ventures, and portfolio management. - Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in an equivalent senior advisory role within a reputable organization will be preferred. - The duration of articleship or equivalent professional training will be considered as part of the required relevant experience. Education- Fellow member of ICAP/ICMAP/CIMA, or MPhil/PhD in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Investment Banking, or Mergers and Acquisitions. Details- - Drive the full privatization lifecycle for assigned entities in the financial and real estate sectors — from asset onboarding and valuation through transaction close — ensuring each phase aligns with Cabinet-approved policies, processes, and timelines. - Oversee comprehensive due diligence (financial, legal, operational, and technical), coordinating inputs from multiple advisors and ensuring the integrity and completeness of information provided to investors. - Supervise and evaluate the performance of transaction advisors, legal counsel, valuers, and technical consultants to maintain quality, accountability, and compliance with Commission standards. - Lead transaction structuring activities, develop term sheets, and engage proactively with local and international investors to gauge market appetite and tailor offerings accordingly. - Draft and review all transaction-related documents, including Expressions of Interest (EOIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), bidding packages, financial models, and Cabinet summaries, ensuring analytical rigor and procedural accuracy. - Liaise with line ministries, regulators, SOEs, and oversight bodies to secure clearances, address bottlenecks, and ensure institutional alignment throughout the transaction process. - Monitor and maintain dashboards and progress trackers to provide realtime visibility on the transaction pipeline and report status updates to the Chairman, Board, and other high-level forums.
