About this role
• Operate and monitor computer systems, peripheral devices, and network equipment. • Perform data entry and ensure data accuracy in government databases and record management systems. • Install, update, and troubleshoot software and hardware. • Manage backups and ensure data security protocols are followed. • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and official documents using MS Office or similar tools. • Maintain logs of system usage, malfunctions, and resolutions. • Coordinate with IT support staff for complex technical issues. • Provide basic technical support to staff, including setting up workstations and email accounts. • Maintain inventory of IT equipment and ensure timely maintenance. • Ensure compliance with departmental IT policies and guidelines Bachelor's degree (preferably in Computer Science, IT, or a related field). Typing speed as per department standards (commonly 40-50 WPM). Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of operating systems, networking, and database management. Ability to troubleshoot basic hardware/software issues - Open Merit - Job Location: Anywhere in Pakistan - 5 years of general age relaxation has already been added.
