About this role
(i) BS (4 Years) in computer science, information technology or related field from HEC recognized university (Master’s preferred). (ii) At least Three (3) years of experience in system storage, virtualization, backups recovery, Linux and Unix. (iii) Proficiency in system, virtualization, storages, backup softwares and disaster recovery strategies. (iv) Candidates with proven experience in Software Defined storages shall be preferred. (v) Excellent technical knowledge of CIFS, NFS, Object Storages, S3, Linux, Unix, bash scripting automation tool like Ansible/chef, Windows, Webservers, DNS servers, virtualization including Openshift or any other CI/CD infrastructure experience, Backup & Restore softwares etc. (vi) Must have expertise in Troubleshooting Linux, Unix, complex computing platforms, storage systems and cutting-edge technologies involving virtualization, distribution, and high availability. (vii) Expertise in Server operating system administration such Windows, Linux, etc. (viii) Expertise in system, storage troubleshooting, performance tuning, hardening, firmware upgrade and patching. (ix) Technical expertise in designing, installing, configuring, and supporting backup systems and management software’s. (x) Experience of working with government and public sector projects is preferred. (xi) Must be flexible to work in morning and evening shifts.
