About this role

Minimum of 5 years experience in Public and Private Sector related to Grants Disbursements, Accounts and Finance. Experience with PSDP/ADP projects will be preferred. ● The Assistant Manager Grants is a critical position within the Pakistan Startup Fund, responsible for managing the grant application process, conducting due diligence on startup applicants, and ensuring the efficient and transparent allocation of grants to eligible startups. ● Administer the grant application process, including the intake and initial review of applications. ● Act as the primary point of contact for startups seeking grants, offering guidance and support throughout the application process. ● Conduct thorough due diligence on startup applicants to assess their eligibility and potential. ● Collaborate with the investment analysts and advisory committee to make informed recommendations for grant allocations. ● Maintain detailed records of grant applications, due diligence findings, and grant disbursements. ● Generate reports on grant allocation activities to ensure transparency and accountability. ● Facilitate communication with the fund's advisory committee, presenting startup applications and due diligence findings for their consideration. ● Act as a liaison to gather insights and recommendations from the committee. ● Build and maintain relationships with startup communities, incubators, and accelerators to identify potential grant recipients. ● Foster connections that promote the fund's mission and expand its outreach. ● Ensure that all grant allocation activities align with legal and regulatory compliance. ● Mitigate risks associated with grant administration and funding allocation. ● Assist in public relations and outreach efforts to promote the fund's grant opportunities and impact. ● Help organize and attend events and activities that enhance the fund's visibility within the startup ecosystem. Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited local or foreign University recognized by HEC. Job Location: Islamabad
