About the Role

This is an opportunity to work as part of the team and project “Uncertainty Aware Data Attribution Of Vision-Language Models” funded by Huawei Technologies Duesseldorf GmbH, led by Dr Changjae Oh, Dr Ziquan Liu, Prof Shaogang Gong. The objective of the postdoctoral research associate position is to investigate self-evolving AI models with Uncertainty-Aware Data Attribution.

About You

The successful candidate must have a PhD (or equivalent) in the field of computer vision or a closely related area. They will possess the skills and ability to conduct high-quality, innovative research and to successfully disseminate the outcome through peer-reviewed publications. They will be highly motivated, demonstrate strong collaboration skills with other project members, and show a clear commitment to research excellence and ethical conduct.

About the School of EECS

Our researchers work with the arts and sciences collaborating with psychologists, biologists, musicians and actors, mathematicians, medical researchers, dentists and lawyers. As a multidisciplinary School, we are well known for our pioneering research and pride ourselves on our world-class projects. The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is full time (35 hours per week), fixed term appointment for 8 months, with an expected start date of June 2026.
