We are seeking a hardworking, enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our lovely school and the Bressingham team. Working hours: Tuesday and Wednesday, 8:40am – 3.20pm
We are looking for someone who ideally:
Has experience of working with children. Has a positive ‘can do’ attitude and is able to set clear, firm expectations for behaviour. Is flexible in supporting children in class, small group work and 1:1 as required. Has an understanding of children with additional needs. Has an adaptive, consistent and kind approach when supporting children to do their best. Is able to follow SEN and care plans. Has good English, maths and phonics skills and is confident to work in EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Can communicate well and form positive relationships with children, parents and has the ability to work as a team. Can liaise with the class teacher and SENDCO to ensure learning takes place at the appropriate level. Can confidently carry out midday supervisory assistant duties, including helping to set up, monitor and clear up after lunches, and supervise and facilitate successful playtimes for children.
