Payscale: Point 12 (FTE £28,598 per year, approx. £18,511Pro-rata)

Working 28 hours, 39 weeks per year

Commencing: September 2026

Holme CofE Primary School and Stilton Primary School have an exciting opportunity for a committed and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Inclusion and SEND) to join a vibrant team of enthusiastic, hardworking and supportive individuals.

This is a unique role working across both schools (2 days per week at Holme and 2 days per week at Stilton), supporting our Inclusion teams and working closely with pupils who have SEND, SEMH needs, or require additional support to access learning.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality inclusive provision, including leading targeted interventions, supporting classroom teaching (including PPA cover), and helping to ensure all pupils can engage, progress and achieve their full potential.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally:

Have experience working across the primary phaseHave experience working in a TA or HLTA role, including covering classesHave experience supporting pupils with SEND and delivering targeted interventionsExperience of working within the SEND/Inclusion team, including supporting with Early Help Assessments and Statutory processes. Have a strong understanding of inclusive practice and supporting vulnerable learnersBe committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young peopleBe enthusiastic, ambitious and dedicated to improving outcomes for all pupilsBe highly organised and able to manage competing priorities effectivelyBe able to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with colleagues, parents and pupilsHave a proactive ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to use initiativeBe flexible and able to work across two school settings About Role

We are looking for an experienced HLTA to join our team, working 28 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.

In this role, you will:

Support teaching and learning across both schoolsDeliver targeted SEND and inclusion interventionsSupport pupils’ engagement, behaviour and wellbeingProvide short-term class cover (including PPA and ad hoc cover)Support pupils to develop social skills, confidence and independenceImplement behaviour strategies and contribute to a consistent, inclusive approachWork closely with the SENCo, staff and external professionals where requiredMaintain accurate records of interventions and pupil progressSupport reintegration following absence or periods of dysregulationWelcome to DEMAT (soon to be Grace Schools)
