An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 5 Physiotherapists to join our team and gain experience across a wide range of clinical settings, including Medicine, Orthopaedics (Trauma and elective), Surgery, Intensive Care, Neurosciences, Musculoskeletal, and Paediatrics.
Addenbrooke's Hospital is a leading regional teaching hospital providing high quality physiotherapy services to both inpatients and outpatients. As a Band 5, you will join our five monthly rotational scheme, offering rich exposure to varied clinical areas and diverse patient groups.
You will also be part of our emergency on-call and weekend service, where full training and support are provided.

Main duties of the job
Provide high-quality physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients across a variety of clinical areas.
Manage your own caseload as an autonomous practitioner, adapting treatment plans based on patient progress.
Contribute to weekend, bank holiday, and out-of-hours respiratory on-call services (with full training).
Communicate effectively with patients, families, carers, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure safe use of equipment.
Support and supervise physiotherapy assistants and contribute to teaching and service development.
Engage in CPD, training, and audit activities to support ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications Essential
Degree in Physiotherapy Physiotherapist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
Experience Essential
A broad range of undergraduate placements completed Experience in ITU/Critical Care or with acute respiratory conditions Experience of working in an acute hospital setting
