Job summary
The Service Delivery Manager will work with the Service Manager in Urology within DAS division, they will provide a responsive and effective operational administrative and management support.
Working across this service they will ensure that relevant KPIs are achieved, resolving issues within their own authority or through escalation to the relevant service manager.
They will be expected to oversee the management of patient flow to and from ESHT, to support the services by helping to reduce (and to standardise) wait times for outpatients and electives across Sussex. They will support Urology to track patients' pathways received via the PTL and to provide monitoring and management support to the patients' RTT.
They will collate data and be able to provide reports as needed and be able to articulate this with appropriate stakeholders as required.
They will help t on validation initiatives, in line with local, regional, and national asks.
They will be the key point of access manager for a multi-agency team consisting of both internal stakeholders (SMs, GMs, service leads, bookings teams, validators etc) alongside external partners by providing continuity and achieving excellence in patient care.
Main duties of the job
To work with the assigned clinical team, to provide responsive andeffective operational management support. This incorporatesoperational delivery, performance management, financialmanagement, service development and improvement and theimplementation and monitoring of national policies including RTTand cancer targets and key performance indicators.
