We are looking for a passionate Research Team Manager to lead our multidisciplinary Circuit Breaker research team in Baden-Dättwil (Switzerland), part of the Central European Hitachi Energy Research Center.

Oversee different research laboratories, ensuring high safety standards and complianceContribute to research projects and pre-studies with your own scientific expertiseParticipate in test campaigns, including taking on the electrical emergency first aider role (training will be provided) You are impactful
Foster the creation of new research project proposals and strategic research initiativesContribute to an innovative, motivating, and inclusive working environment You foster collaboration
Maintain and expand a strong network with relevant business units and leading universitiesPromote collaboration across all Hitachi Energy Research Centers Your background
PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related fieldTechnical expertise in areas such as circuit breakers, high power testing, plasma physics, along with an interest in emerging research and technology fieldsSeveral years of experience and a proven track record in industrial R&D, including people leadership experienceFluency in English (written and spoken); German is an advantage If you are eager to drive innovation in a dynamic research environment, we look forward to your application!
