About this role
We are looking for an experienced engineer who likes to be part of the expanding team at Cummins providing the power generation systems & solutions for the growing data centre, energy management, mission critical and industrial power market segments within the Asia Pacific business region. This role needs to be based in Sydney, Australia while providing project engineering support for power generation project opportunities at various countries within the Asia Pacific and collaborating across the globe.

Cummins Project Engineers serve as the technical liaison between Cummins and its customers. Applying Cummins' power generation products to customer's power generation and distribution systems requires the development of technical specifications, implementing design configurations, and delivering high-performance, cost-effective equipment and system solutions integrated with customers' power system in variety of applications at data centres, commercial buildings, hospitals, semiconductor manufacturing facilities, water treatment plants, gas compressor stations, mining sites, etc
In this role, you will make an impact to the power generation systems & solutions we offered to our customers and their consultants in the following ways:
Build customer relationshipsInterpret customer requirementsRecognize regulatory requirementsDefine functional & performance requirementsRecommend applicable systems and solutionsGenerate technical specificationProvide technical compliance, deviation and exemption matrix to the tender requirementsCommunicate system installation requirementsRecommend and review systems installation designs (on paper)Review actual systems installation (on site)Support testing and commissioningOrganize technical documentation To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical or Electronics or Mechatronics or Systems EngineeringBuilds networks - Effectively building formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organizationYou will have experienced with Design Software such as AutoCAD & 3 D PrintingGood communication and interpersonal skillsStrong experiences of applying power generation products, systems, and solutions Compensation and Benefits
