Your Opportunity

The Editorial Assistant will provide editorial operational support to Consumer Health editorial teams including preparing communication materials, tracking activities/project management, coordinating review processes, managing publication tools, and light copyediting. They will also contribute to implementation of editorial policies and workflow, assist with production steps and support personnel across the Consumer Health Editorial Team with both collaborative and independent projects.

This remote/hybrid position is U.S.-based only (excluding U.S. territories).

What You'll Do

Perform editorial process tasks that require varying degrees of problem-solving skills and independent judgment.Utilize editorial software to assist with content production stepsCreate and prepare new topics in content management system (SDL)Review and repair technical errors in current content that block production and publication Coordinate content writing and review processes with internal editorial teams including maintaining project list, tracking data, and reviewing schedulesCollaborate with members of the Consumer Health Editorial Team on project management, production editing, and other projects and tasksSupport customer request workflow by collating feedback and tracking responsesTrack and report key team metrics Other duties as assigned by supervisor Your Team

You will be welcomed as a member of the Consumer Health team, a team of about 6 people, as well as a member of the Dynamic Health teams. About You

Associate's degree or at least 2 years of relevant editorial experience≥ 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook, and Word What sets you apart

Ability to apply independent thinking and analysis to complete identified assignments efficientlyFlexibility to multi-task and provide ready response to high priority incoming requestsAbility to learn and use editorial software (content management systems) and other organizational toolsWillingness to perform some repetitive activities Ability to perform basic copyedit work including using spellcheck, spotting odd spacing or double words, identifying anything outside of normal formatting, and technical/tagging issues.Ability to work in team environment and report on completed assignments Pay Range

USD $45,230.00 - USD $64,615.00 /Yr.

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience, as well as the position's work location.

Our Hybrid Work Policy: We value the balance of remote focus and in-person connection. For all our roles not designated as onsite, candidates living within a 30-mile radius of one of our hub office locations (Ipswich, MA; Birmingham, AL; Contoocook, NH) are required to be on-site one day designated by their team for collaboration and syncs. If you reside outside of this 30-mile range, the position is considered fully remote.
