Job Description
Responsibilities :
Manage the Global Transportation rate cardsReflect and maintain the most up to date information on lane specifications and providers used on each lane. Implement leakage controls and reporting deviations from rate card.Create new lanes / decommission discontinued lanes in the global freight database.Automate the Rate Card Management Process by leveraging existing or new proposed toolsCommunicate updated rate cards to FP&A external partners and internal stakeholdersNew carrier account creationsEnsure timely creation of all new global carrier accounts to support RFQ implementationsLiaise with regional stakeholders to support onboarding of Freight Audit and Pay processesSpot quote support :Approve spot quotes in Keelvar globally to award the best carrier according to service and ratesAssist on the Keelvar administration (System updates, account creation)Invoice ApprovalsApprove invoices for "out of rate card" shipments (LCL, spot, etc.)Assist the North America Regional Team on international transportation invoice approvals - To be confirmedAssist the Global Transportation team in the approval of equipment moves across the globeCoordinate this activity and suggest cost optimization opportunities Position Requirements
To excel in this role, the Global Transportation Coordinator should have a proven track record in transportation and logistics, along with a strong ability to connect and interpret transportation data globally and identify dependencies in the data sets.
A Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.5-10 years of experience in international transportation or shipping roles.Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with regional teams and external partners.The ability to analyze and organize data to propose automation opportunitiesIntermediate to Advanced proficiency in Excel & Power BI is required. Python and Javascript are a plus.Ability to carry out short to long term initiatives and meet firm deadlines.Operates with a constructive mindset under pressure and meets expectations with quality work.
