About this role
We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join our high performing team in Carole Park, QLD.
In this role, you will complete repairs and rebuilds on engine products across all market segments (predominantly automotive) in a service workshop under supervision
You will make an impact in the following ways:
Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel productsDiagnose and repair enginesDisassemble, inspect, and clean engines and /or engine componentsEngine rebuilding and reconditioningMaintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operationAssist with completion required documentation, such as work completed documentation, time sheets, warranty claims and quality forms, via handwritten forms or business system input screensEnsure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to their supervisor To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Mechanical trades qualified as a Heavy or Light Vehicle Mechanic (to Australian standards)Previous repairs and maintenance experience with Diesel Engines, Power Generation, On Highway Truck, Construction or Agriculture desirable but not essential.Diagnostic and problem-solving capabilitiesBe a team player & be prepared to adhere to Cummins PoliciesEnsure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, reporting any issues / incidents to shift supervisors Compensation and Benefits:
