How you'll make an impact
Support development of SF6-free high-voltage circuit breakers through simulations and testingPerform electric field simulations to support dielectric design decisionsAnalyze and evaluate breakdown measurements and test resultsMaintain and expand breakdown databases including alternative gasesUse and further develop internally established dielectric evaluation toolsContribute to design optimization through simulation insights and basic testingCollaborate with interdisciplinary project teams in circuit breaker developmentConduct literature research on breakdown and flashover phenomena and extract relevant data including simulations (Comsol) Your background
Enrolled Student (preferably Master) or Graduate in Physics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related fieldStrong programming skills and interest in Python, Matlab, or ExcelFluent in written and spoken EnglishAnalytical thinking and structured problem-solving skillsAbility to work collaboratively and take initiative independentlyInterest in high-voltage systems and simulation-based engineering (Comsol, CAD, Creo) More about us
