The Role
We are seeking a motivated student pursuing a Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field for a hands-on summer internship focused on cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and AI model deployment. This remote role provides extensive experience in automating DevOps and DevSecOps activities in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze, research, develop and test software and distributed systems.Code software applications using Java, Python, Golang.Architectural Design and DevelopmentCreate and execute unit test plans.Research and correct defects.Develop technical analysis and design specifications based on functional requirements.Research technical solutions to business problems.Participate in functional and technical specification reviews.utilize infrastructure management tool Terraform, and cloud-service platform AWS and its various productsDevelop understanding of containerization, in Kubernetes, and abstractions such as AWS SagemakerDesign, develop and deploy applications using different frameworks such as Flask, Django, etcApply knowledge of Databases fundamentals such as SQL vs NoSQLBuild, debug, and optimize software lifecycle in a distributed environmentUnderstanding and application of basic Networking principlesfamiliarity with machine learning inference Requirements:
Enrollment in Bachelor's/Masters degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology Management or related field.Previous internship or experience in the job offered or with software development or as software or devops developer/engineer desired. • Specific Skills: Java/J2EE software; RDBMS; SQL; Drools; Rest/SOAP API definition & implementation; backend systems and web-based applications; JMS components (ActiveMQ/RabbitMQ/Kafka); WebLogic/WebSphere application servers using CI/CD model; cloud adoption and integration (AWS/Google Cloud/Azure); Distributed computing solutions and distributed version control system.
