About this role
The Research and Development Center located in Brussels is one of the main R&D hubs of The Coca-Cola Company. We lead the development of new beverages (carbonated soft drinks, juices, iced teas, water, dairy), packaging solutions, and retail equipment innovations for Europe, Eurasia, the Middle East, and Africa.
We are looking for an experienced Production Technician with a strong background in the food and beverage industry to operate within our Pilot Plant, working across a wide variety of beverage and ingredient manufacturing equipment.
What You'll Do for Us:
Manufacture ingredients, beverages, syrups, and beverage bases according to production schedules and technical specificationsOperate and troubleshoot pilot plant and food processing equipment while ensuring optimal process performanceApply and maintain strict food safety, Quality Assurance (QA), HACCP, and GMP standardsMonitor production parameters and ensure compliance with product quality and regulatory requirementsSupport beverage process development, scale-up activities, and continuous improvement initiativesFollow and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing and cleaning operationsEnsure compliance with occupational health, safety, and hygiene regulationsParticipate in preventive maintenance activities and collaborate with technical teams to optimize equipment reliability Qualifications & Requirements:
5+ years of experience in food or beverage manufacturing, pilot plant operations, or large-scale food production environmentsStrong hands-on experience with beverage processing, syrup preparation, ingredient handling, mixing, batching, pasteurization, CIP systems, or similar food manufacturing technologiesSolid understanding of food safety standards, GMP, HACCP, hygiene regulations, and quality systemsExperience working in highly regulated food production environmentsBachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related fieldStrong communication skills in English, both verbal and written; French and Dutch are a plusProactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and a continuous improvement approachComfortable working in a multicultural and innovation-driven environment What We Can Do for You:
