The Prototype Test Engineer is responsible for developing procedures and equipment that will both ensure quality of all production products as well as validate design goals. This engineer will need to have a fundamental understanding of how the cold plate function and work in order to develop these test systems. This is an electromechanical role.
Mikros Technologies liquid cooling systems are deployed in large AI data centers and help to increase the energy efficiency of these sites. We also make active liquid cooling systems that are utilized in semiconductor test equipment for providing fast thermal control to maintain a constant temperature under a varying heat load.

Review designs for testing requirements.Support manufacturing with failure analysis, and tester debugging, reduce intermittent failures and downtime of test equipment.Generate reports and analysis of test data.Prepare recommendations for testing and documentation of procedures to be used from the product design phase through to initial production.Review test equipment designs, data and RMA issues with customers regularlyAbility to research and determine applicable testing standardsDesign, and direct engineering and technical personnel in fabrication of testing and test control apparatus and equipmentAnalyze and interpret test data and prepares technical reports for use by test engineering and management personnelAbility to use computer software and hardware to conduct tests on machinery and equipment.Ability to programComply and follow all procedures within the company security policy How will you get here?
Education:
Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering degree Experience:
5 years of related experience preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Test Engineering or relatedStrong understanding of mechatronics and/or electromechanical systems3-5 years of relevant experience is preferredPrevious test experience in a manufacturing or R & D environment is preferredKnowledge with metrology of fluid systems is a plusExperience with Python or other scripting languages preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
