Job Summary
The Industrial Engineer I supports the Industrial Engineering Department in planning, designing, implementing, and managing production and service systems. These systems ensure strong performance, reliability, maintainability, schedule adherence, and cost control within the manufacturing site.
Primary Focus: Conduct studies to identify the most efficient workflows and production processes. Recommend improvements to maximize the use of equipment and personnel.

Shift 1: Mon - Thr, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Shift 2: Mon - Thr, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM Shift 3: Fri - Sun, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Shift 4: Fri - Sun, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM Responsibilities
Monitor and continuously improve daily quality and efficiency in assigned areasDesign and source production tools, equipment, and workstationsCoordinate production layout changes and workstation movesPrepare and evaluate time estimates for projectsReduce changeover time by standardizing setups where possibleEnsure machine maintenance is completed on scheduleReduce machine-related scrap by analyzing data and implementing corrective actionsReduce manual assembly scrap through quality monitoring and improvementsAnalyze workforce utilization, facility layouts, production costs, and workflows to improve efficiencyFollow all safety and health regulationsComply with company security policies and proceduresPerform additional duties as assigned Qualifications
Knowledge of industrial engineering tools (e.g., work measurement, process mapping, facility and workstation design)Understanding of Jabil's global strategy and directionStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to align site capabilities with company strategyExperience implementing continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiativesStrong communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, Project, and AutoCAD
