The Senior Hybrid Business Development Representative role is designed for someone who has already built strong foundations in business development, recruitment, or another activity driven outreach role and is now looking for their next level of impact. This is not a step sideways. It is a step up.

You will be a builder. Someone who enjoys creating structure, refining local processes, and helping shape how enterprise business development is executed in Japan within a global organisation. You will play a key role in solidifying top of funnel strategy and execution for the region, while representing Japan's perspective and performance on a global stage.

This role suits someone who is competitive by nature and proud of their craft. You enjoy calling, prospecting, building relationships and creating opportunity. You like being in the numbers, tracking performance, and holding yourself to high standards. You are motivated by execution, but you also think strategically about how pipeline is built, sustained, and scaled.

You are comfortable leading thinking in the region. You do not shy away from clear, confident conversations about what great performance looks like, and you bring others along with you through credibility, data, and results.

The role is a true hybrid of inbound and outbound business development. You will work with a strong flow of inbound interest while also prospecting into a large, established database and targeted outbound campaigns. Key accountabilities

Own top of funnel pipeline generation for the Japan region across outbound and inboundDeliver high volume, high quality outbound activity with proven experience sustaining 80+ dials per dayExecute at speed across phone, email, LinkedIn, and targeted campaignsBuild and maintain a healthy, future focused pipeline aligned to quarterly and annual targetsDesign and execute outbound campaigns in partnership with Marketing and SalesQualify opportunities using strong commercial judgement and buying signal alignmentAct as a strategic voice for the Japan market, sharing insights and recommendationsReport weekly and quarterly on activity, pipeline, and conversion to APJ BD and local Commercial leadershipRepresent the Business Development function confidently in leadership forumsPartner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to continuously improve performance How you will work

Spend the majority of time actively prospecting and creating opportunitiesPlan and manage your own book of business without being chasedUse Outreach and Salesforce with discipline, accuracy, and intentMaintain strong follow up, data hygiene, and next step clarityBalance day to day execution with forward looking pipeline planning What success looks like
