Director, Construction Project Management

This position is within the Global Design and Construction team (over 20 people) who delivers over 70 projects globally per year (in excess of $1B capex).

Job Summary

Plans and directs day to day operations and strategic direction of hyperscale data center customer fit out programs as well as lead a team of high performing professionals. Significantly contributes to creating and maintaining best in class policies and procedures. Establishes and maintains supply chain relationships.

Responsibilities

Leads, manages, recruits, develops staff, often across multiple data center customer fit out projects. Mentors junior team membersLeads and manages hyperscale customer fit out programs, working with internal and customer design, procurement, operations, and IT/network support teamsDirects as many as 25+ external vendors per projectLeads in establishing and maintaining high value relationships, understanding customer-specified design changesLeads in identifying and developing training programsLeads cross-functional trainingLeads in developing and executing effective contract administration procedures including generation, review, and monitoring of prime contracts, subcontracts, change orders, cost forecasts, and other pertinent documents and documentationLeads in creating and maintaining best in class policies and procedures Qualifications

Extensive construction management and customer fit out experience in data centers. Hyperscale and/or campus build experience preferredBachelor's degree in a related field of engineering, construction management, architecture, preferredAbility and willingness to travel (Approx. 30% of time) throughout the USBackground in leading teams and developing professionals to be their best.Proven experience in project management in a critical facility construction environmentStrong stakeholder management and collaboration including vendor management.Self-motivated and flexibleIn-depth knowledge of relevant statutory regulations and industry best practicesExperienced in construction procurement methodologiesMS Office including MS Project, Excel, and Visio skills The United States targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

• San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $179,000 to $269,000 per year • California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $171,000 to $257,000 per year • Colorado, Nevada, Rhode Island: $155,000 to $233,000 per year

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

This position may be offered in other locations. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
