The opportunity
Hitachi Energy is looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager Process Improvement to drive strategic optimization initiatives across business units. In this role, you will enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen overall operational performance through structured process improvements and digital transformation.
How you'll make an impact
Lead end-to-end process improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and A3 methodologiesDefine project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics with stakeholdersAnalyse current processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunitiesDevelop and implement scalable process solutions leveraging best practices and digital tools and drive change management, including workshops and trainings to ensure adoptionLead CI method trainings (e.g. A3 problem solving)Monitor project progress, risks, and performance, and report to senior managementCollaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, IT, and other stakeholdersIdentify opportunities for automation, digitalization, and continuous improvement Your background
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master's is a plus)Minimum 5 years of experience in project management with focus on process improvementMinimum 3 year of experience as continues improvement responsibleProven track record in delivering complex process optimization initiatives Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) certificationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindsetExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience working in cross-functional and international environmentsAbility to adapt in a fast-paced and evolving business environmentEnglish is mandatory, German beneficial More about us
