The role
We are looking for a Surrey Venture Studio Coordinator to support the operational delivery of the Surrey Venture Studio (SVS), a pre-incubation programme helping early-stage academic and community-led entrepreneurs turn ideas into viable ventures. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a flagship initiative driving innovation and economic growth across Surrey and partner universities.
In this role, you will:
Coordinate workshops, selection panels, and showcase events across multiple sites. Manage communications with participants, mentors, and stakeholders to ensure a seamless experience. Maintain programme calendars, databases, and documentation for delivery and audit readiness. Track Catalyst Grant spending plans and invoices, ensuring accurate records. Support outreach through social media, newsletters, and promotional materials. Assist the SVS Manager with reporting and compliance requirements.
About you
You will bring:
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. IT proficiency, ideally with Microsoft Office tools. Experience in coordinating events and managing administrative processes. Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions.
