We're now looking for an ambitious, highly organised, and energised Project Cutover Lead to join our SuccessFactors programme team. This is a pivotal role at the heart of a major transformation, ensuring a seamless transition from project delivery into business‑as‑usual operations.

What you'll be doing

As our Cutover Lead, you will take full ownership of the end‑to‑end cutover plan across Data, Technical, and Business workstreams. You'll bring structure, clarity, and control to a complex programme, ensuring every dependency is understood, every risk is managed, and every stakeholder is aligned.

You will: Lead the cutover strategy - establish the overall approach and project plans across all major streamsDefine cutover principles and secure stakeholder agreementOversee detailed cutover plans across Data, Technical, and Business areasDevelop comprehensive runbooks, checklists, and decision logsMap dependencies and identify critical path activitiesEstablish a cutover governance framework with clear escalation routesMaintain the RAID log, tracking and mitigating risksProvide command and control during cutover entry, trials, and exitBuild and maintain rollback and contingency plansDeliver evidence‑based Go/No‑Go recommendationsCoordinate with BAU and Release Management to ensure environment readinessValidate readiness criteria ahead of live cutoverCommunicate regularly with senior stakeholders and technical leadsEnsure appropriate resource allocation during cutover windowsWork with business continuity teams to minimise operational disruptionFacilitate cutover readiness forums and decision‑making sessions What you'll bring

You'll thrive in this role if you're calm under pressure, structured in your thinking, and confident leading complex, multi‑disciplinary teams through high‑stakes transitions.

We're looking for: Demonstrable experience leading complex IT or business transformation cutoversA highly successful project management background (Prince2, PMP, Agile or equivalent)Experience with cutover planning tools (Cutover.com, ServiceNow, MS Project, Smartsheet)Hands‑on experience with SuccessFactorsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsProven ability to lead with command and control during critical periodsExperience running cutover rehearsals and embedding lessons learnedUnderstanding of data migration, technical infrastructure, and business changeA significant risk and issue management capabilityCollaborative working style across diverse teamsITIL Foundation (desirable)Experience in construction, building materials, or related industries (desirable)Knowledge of SAP/ERP implementationsChange management certification (Prosci, CMI) (desirable)Experience with Agile/DevOps environmentsBackground in 24/7 operational settingsUnderstanding of UK regulatory and compliance requirementsExperience with cloud migration and infrastructure cutovers Why join us?
