Job summary
Ince Surgery is seeking a compassionate and proactive Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to support the delivery of high-quality patient care within our busy GP surgery.Working under the direct supervision of the practice nurse and strictly in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols, the healthcare assistant will assist the practice clinical team in the provision and delivery of prescribed programmes of patient care.
Main duties of the job
ECG
Blood pressure check
Urine analysis
Maintenance and cleaning equipment
Stocking drugs and equipment
New Patient Health Checks
NHS Patient Health Checks including height and weight
Form completion
Re-stocking consultation rooms
Home visits

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
5 GCSE grade c and above
Desirable
Qualified in Phlebotomy. Have Health and Social Care Qualification
Experience Essential
Experience of working in a care environment.
Desirable
Previous experience of working in general practice desirable.
