Job Summary:
The IT Systems Engineer Senior serves as a servant leader and Agile coach, enabling cross-functional teams to deliver business value through modern delivery practices and a product-centric operating model. This role partners closely with Product Managers, Engineering teams, and stakeholders to foster collaboration, drive continuous improvement, remove impediments, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions.
The position plays a critical role in orchestrating delivery across multiple teams, managing dependencies, improving delivery predictability, and supporting the adoption of Agile-at-scale practices. The successful candidate will help teams embrace agility, promote transparency, and align execution with business objectives while driving measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Agile Leadership & Team Enablement
Serve as a servant leader and coach to Agile teams, promoting Lean and Agile principles, practices, and continuous improvement.Coach team members, Product Managers, and stakeholders on modern delivery practices and product-centric operating models.Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning activities.Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, accountability, innovation, and continuous learning. Product Delivery & Execution
Support Product Managers and teams in backlog refinement, prioritization, release planning, and defining measurable business outcomes.Establish and maintain team norms, working agreements, and definitions of done to ensure compliance with organizational standards, governance requirements, and quality expectations.Monitor delivery metrics and team performance indicators to identify risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.Communicate team progress, achievements, and challenges to stakeholders and leadership. Cross-Team Coordination & Dependency Management
Orchestrate delivery across multiple product and engineering teams, ensuring alignment of priorities, schedules, and dependencies.Identify, track, and manage cross-functional and cross-team dependencies.Facilitate coordination across Product Managers, Engineering teams, and shared service functions to ensure successful delivery of interdependent initiatives.Drive release alignment and execution planning across multiple delivery streams. Risk Management & Continuous Improvement
Proactively identify risks and issues that may impact delivery and facilitate mitigation planning.Remove impediments or engage appropriate stakeholders to resolve blockers.Drive adoption of Agile-at-scale practices and execution governance.Establish delivery metrics and reporting mechanisms that provide visibility into progress, value realization, and delivery predictability. Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.7-10 years of overall professional experience.Experience working in Agile software development environments with multiple cross-functional teams.Experience coordinating delivery across product, engineering, platform, or shared services teams.Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Lean principles, and modern software delivery practices.Experience managing dependencies, release planning, and execution across multiple teams.Ability to work effectively within global delivery models and distributed teams.
