We're looking for an experienced and motivated Senior MRI Radiographer to join our diagnostic imaging team at Practice Plus Group Diagnostics, Buckinghamshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a modern, patient-focused imaging service, delivering high-quality MRI scans while being part of a supportive multidisciplinary team. You'll play a key role in ensuring safe, effective and compassionate care, while maintaining the highest professional standards.
This is a part-time role working 26.25 hours per week, with the following shift pattern:
Monday: 08:00 19:00 Thursday: 08:00 19:00 Every other Sunday: 08:00 19:00 Our Radiology service is located within a purpose-built Diagnostics Centre, in the market town of High Wycombe (in Buckinghamshire). Located on the edge of the Chiltern hills, High Wycombe is conveniently situated close to the M40, with good train links to Oxford and London.
Our MRI suite has recently gone through a period of exciting change and development, with the installation of a state-of-the-art Siemens 1.5T Altera to complement our existing fixed Siemens Avanto.
The diagnostics department also offers X-ray, Ultrasound and Echocardiograms and the local MSK and Physiotherapy service is co-located enabling close working with other healthcare professionals.
Main duties of the job
As our Senior MRI Radiographer, you will be:
Delivering a high standard of MRI imaging practice, ensuring safe and effective patient care at all times. Undertaking a wide range of MRI examinations, adapting techniques to meet individual patient needs. Clinically justifying imaging referrals and validating reports in line with established protocols. Working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to manage workload effectively. Communicating clearly with patients, relatives and colleagues, ensuring a positive patient experience. Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring correct data entry across radiology systems. Ensuring high standards of infection control, safety and cleanliness within clinical areas. Participating in clinical governance, audit and quality assurance activities. Maintaining CPD and professional registration in line with HCPC requirements.

As a HCPC registered Radiographer with strong experience in MRI imaging, you will also have:
BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent) Ability to work across a range of techniques Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication skills with a patientcentred approach High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate clinical records Understanding of clinical governance, quality assurance and patient safety A flexible, proactive attitude and commitment to continuous professional development What You Can Expect in Return
