The Marketing department creates passion and relevance for the "Dolby Difference" driving sell-in and sell-thru of Dolby enabled devices, services, content, and experiences across multiple constituents - partners, creators, consumers, and developers.
About the Role:
As a Social Media Intern on Dolby's Global Social team, you will support the execution of Dolby's social strategy across music, film and TV, automotive, UGC, and live entertainment. This is a hands-on, social-first role designed for someone who is deeply tapped into culture, content trends, and emerging platforms.
You will work closely with the global social team to bring Dolby's brand to life across channels, supporting content creation, publishing, community engagement, and real-time cultural storytelling. This role is both creative and operational, helping turn global strategy into high-quality, platform-native execution.
What You'll Do:
Content Creation and Creative IdeationSupport development of social-first content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and XAssist in editing short-form video such as Reels, TikToks, and Shorts, and create static assets using tools like Canva or AdobeContribute ideas for culturally relevant, trend-driven content tied to entertainment, music, film, sports, and creator cultureHelp ensure all content aligns with Dolby's brand voice, tone, and global strategyPublishing and Channel ManagementSupport day-to-day publishing workflows across global social channelsAssist in maintaining content calendars and ensuring assets meet platform specifications and best practicesHelp track assets across teams and ensure timely delivery for campaigns and key momentsCommunity Management and Social ListeningMonitor comments, direct messages, and tagged content across platforms and flag opportunities for engagementSupport identification of user-generated content opportunities such as fan posts and creator content for amplificationTrack trending topics, viral moments, and cultural conversations relevant to Dolby's brandAssist in pulling weekly insights and performance snapshotsLive Event and On-the-Ground SupportSupport content capture and coordination for live events such as concerts, premieres, and partner activationsAssist with pre-event planning including shot lists, content plans, and posting strategyHelp organize and upload event assets for global team accessCreator and Operational SupportAssist with creator and influencer activations, including research, vetting, and tracking deliverablesSupport internal workflows including asset management, approvals, and documentationHelp ensure smooth coordination across internal teams, agencies, and partners

Eligibility:
Working towards a Bachelor's degree or Masters degree in marketing or a related field; recent grads who are within 6 months of graduation are also eligible to apply. Must be available to work full-time Monday - Friday for 3 months between September 2026- December 2026.

The San Francisco/Bay Area base hourly range for this internship position is $33-38/hr and can vary if outside of this location. Our hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific hourly range and perks and benefits for your location during the hiring process.
