Job summary Bank Process Technician - Sterile Services
Stoke HSSU Hub | Sterile Services Unit (ST5 7UF) | Bank Contract | Part Time/ weekend work
£12.84 per hour + 20% enhancement for weekends
Please note this is not based at the Clayton Nuffield Hospital.
Main duties of the job As a Process Technician, you will:
Dismantle and prepare and sterilise Medical Instruments ready for Theatre Surgery.
Inspect and maintain instruments to a high standard.
Help to ensure all equipment is in good working order.
Regularly check medical equipment for damage and report any faults.
Work with a strong friendly team.
Take on training as required.
Be computer literate.
Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
Take action to resolve any problems.
Escalate issues where necessary.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with our policies and procedures.
Handle manual handling duties up to 13kg.
Have strong attention to detail and an overarching desire to deliver a high quality service.

As a Process Technician at our Stoke HSSU Hub, you'll bring a basic standard of general education with proven literacy and numeracy skills. You're organised with good communication skills - and ideally, you're able to show evidence of sterile services training.

Qualifications Essential
As a Process Technician at our Stoke HSSU Hub, you'll bring a basic standard of general education with proven literacy and numeracy skills. You're organised with good communication skills .
Experience Essential
Ideally you're able to show evidence of sterile services training.
