Job summary Spire Clare Park Hospital is looking for an experienced Bank Healthcare Assistant to join our skilled PreAssessment team. This is an excellent opportunity for HCAs with strong clinical capability to work flexibly while contributing to safe, effective patient preparation within Wales' largest private hospital.

Main duties of the job Duties and responsibilities:

Working under the supervision of qualified nursing staff, you will contribute to the delivery of a highquality, comprehensive nursing service, ensuring every patient receives safe and compassionate care.

Supporting the nursing team to provide exemplary patient care Carrying out routine tasks that promote patient health and wellbeing Taking and recording accurate clinical observations Assisting with ECGs, phlebotomy and basic nursing care Monitoring patients and reporting any changes to the appropriate clinician Assisting with the safe movement of patients in line with hospital policies Providing administrative support when needed, such as updating patient records and supporting departmental documentation Ensuring all admin tasks are completed accurately using hospital systems Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, infection control and patient dignity Undertaking any other reasonable duties aligned with the role

Spire Clare Park Hospital is looking for an experienced Bank Healthcare Assistant to join our skilled PreAssessment team. This is an excellent opportunity for HCAs with strong clinical capability to work flexibly while contributing to safe, effective patient preparation within Wales' largest private hospital.

We're looking for individuals who can confidently support clinical tasks such as observations, ECGs, phlebotomy and preoperative checks, and who are also able to support with administrative duties when required.

Essential requirements: Previous experience as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical environmentNVQ Level 3 in Healthcare or equivalent qualificationConfidence in performing clinical tasks such as observations, ECGs and phlebotomyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong computer skills, including confident use of Word and ExcelAbility to support administrative tasks when requiredWillingness and ability to learn new systems; knowledge of SAP is essential
