Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join our MSK Therapies service as a Clinical Administrator.
The postholder will act as the first point of contact for patients referred into the service and will work alongside GP practices, hospital and community staff to navigate patients to the most appropriate services for their needs in a timely manner.
This is a part time role, for 30 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
The role will include the booking of patients, co-ordination of diagnostic results, working with clinicians, resolving queries, signposting complaints, and supporting with the delivery of services.

Qualifications Essential
Educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent) - to include Maths and English at Grade C or above NVQ Level 3 in Administration or equivalent working experience
Desirable
ECDL Qualification or similar
Experience Essential
Previous administration experience in a busy environment Has experience in a patient facing role dealing with members of the public/service users. Experience and understanding of patient administration systems such as PAS, Bighand, ERS, E-Searcher, SystmOne Experience and understanding of administration systems such as Microsoft Word/Excel, Outlook
Desirable
Previous supervisory experience. Experience of dealing with sensitive and confidential information
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Essential
