About BlackRock Alternatives BlackRock takes a dynamic approach to alternative investments, creating investment vehicles that increasingly capitalize on evolving opportunities in fast-changing markets. We offer clients strategies designed to provide returns with low correlations to the broad equity and bond markets, including private equity, real estate equity and debt, fund of hedge funds, single-strategy hedge funds, long-only absolute return strategies, commodities, and structured products. As a Corporate Governance Authority, you will work closely with internal asset management teams and business partners to ensure communications operate effectively and to the highest standards.
About the Team Working as part of the EMEA Board Governance Team (EBG), you will provide global support to teams in London, Dublin, and Luxembourg and support Alternatives and UCITS fund ranges, as well as Corporate Boards.
The Budapest team was established in 2020 and supports global governance activities, ensures all applicable governance requirements are met, and delivers standard company secretarial activities in a timely and effective manner.
Key focus areas include the preparation of board packs, post-meeting follow-ups, and maintaining high standards of governance support. Strong communication skills, organisational skills, and attention to detail are essential.
Role Impact & Opportunity Due to its global reach, EBG Budapest is in a strong position to align and ensure consistent processes across fund ranges, identify process differences and propose improvements, and drive standardization across governance activities.
The successful candidate will explore opportunities for automation, improve efficiency through technological solutions, and support preparation of board packs and post-meeting activities.
