We're seeking someone to join our Business Continuity Planning team as a Business Continuity Planning Specialist in Firm Resilience. Our vision is to build and sustain a globally integrated team that delivers world-class operational resilience programs and processes, with supporting technology solutions able to adapt to changes in the threat landscape or the Firm's operational priorities with precision and tempo. The Business Continuity Planning team, under Firm Resilience provides the framework and oversight for the development of business continuity plans. Additionally, the team perform exercises and technology readiness testing, integrate lessons learned for process improvement and maintain and evolve supporting policy and technology solutions to build operational resilience throughout the Firm.

This is a Risk & Resiliency Management Associate position, which is part of the job family responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to ensure operational continuity and resilience in the face of potential threats or disruptions that could impact the organization, plus management of ongoing incidents.

What you'll do in the role : Drive Business Continuity Planning program requirements by providing guidance and direction to assigned Business Unit Stakeholders to ensure their Business Continuity Plans are in accordance with the Firm's Business Continuity Management Policy and ProceduresEnsure assigned Business Unit Business Continuity Plans are updated, tested and signed off in accordance with the Firm's Business Continuity Management PolicyProvide Business Continuity Planning tool training as requiredPerform enhanced quality assurance of Business Continuity Plans on an ongoing basis and document findings for Business Unit StakeholdersMaintain direct communications via monthly Business Unit planning meetings and activitiesAssist the department in enhancing, formalizing and standardizing the business continuity planning processDrive and maintain the business recovery site arrangements and set-upCoordinate, guide and oversee annual cycle of BC Plan testing including business recovery site testingCoordinate periodic reviews and tests of established plans and procedures, reporting findings to management and making recommendations for improvements as neededCoordinate monthly reporting collation and distribution for program governance and monitoring purposesEngage with senior management and participate in governance committees to effectively drive the Business Continuity Planning programDynamically drive and support local, regional, and global managed projects as requiredInteract with country management to provide guidance, coordination and support during a disruptive event, including escalation, communication and documenting lessons learnedSupport and participate in internal table-top exercisesYour role may require some travel
What you'll bring to the role : Minimum Bachelor's DegreeFinancial Services sector experienceUnderstanding of industry best practices pertaining to Business Continuity Planning and TestingUnderstanding of existing and emerging regulatory requirements on the financial sector regarding Business Continuity and Operational ResilienceExcellent English fluency (verbal & written)Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) with the ability to articulate program enhancements to key stakeholdersAmple relationship building and influencing skillsSelf-motivated, calm contending prioritiesPC skills: Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)Resilience, Risk Management or Technical backgroundProfessional experience in a Business Continuity Planning Role is a considerable advantageBusiness Continuity Professional certification as a plusExperience with Fusion RM Tool would be beneficial #LI-FT1
