Job summary

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an administrator to join the organisation to provide professional, efficient, and confidential administration and coordinated support to the medical and research team at the Taunton site.

The post holder will be responsible for a broad range of duties, including secretarial tasks, diary management, operational support, and general administration.

This role will also support the onboarding of new staff and medical trainees, and contribute to the development of processes and procedures that enhance operational efficiency. Working closely with Senior medical team, the postholder will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations and effective communication across teams.

Main duties of the job

Your day to day work will include:

- Organising bookings, training sessions, courses, meetings, and associated logistics for the medical team including rota management.

- Support onboarding, induction, and exit processes for clinical staff and medical student placements as required.

- Assisting with Quality Improvement and Research activities of the Senior medical team/Head of Research, providing administrative support for this function.

- Prepare agendas, take minutes, and coordinate follow-up actions for meetings chaired by the medical team.

St Margarets Hospice Care has a fantastic opportunity for a Medical and Research Team Administrator to join their team. This roleis based in Taunton. You will join us on a part time, permanent basisand in return, you will receive a competitive salary of 11547.72per annum.
