In this role, you will:Provide support to a specialized area within the Legal Department using a high degree of analytical, communication and organizational skills.Work independently without direct supervision in the review and processing of routine and complex levies, garnishments, and other legal documents against client accounts. Will include the maintenance of internal files, drafting correspondence and other legal documents and collaboration with other paralegals, attorneys, management, and operational teams.Advise company personnel on the legal, operational, and procedural aspects of legal documents.Handle confidential information, manage expectation of counsel, work with outside counsel, gather and produce information. May prepare agreements, legal documents and correspondence relating to non-litigation and litigation matters according to specified content and format. Present recommendations and exercise some independent judgement while developing specialty expertiseIdentify issues in area of expertise and work independently on complex assignments without direct supervisionPrepare agreements, documents, and pleadings, and provide research and background information under the direction of an attorneyCollaborate, consult, and provide information with Legal Department attorneys and staff, outside counsel and collaborate with line of businessCommunicate with government entities as neededRequired Qualifications:2+ years of paralegal experience demonstrated through work or military experienceDesired Qualifications:Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsExperience with analyzing statutes, working with rules and procedures and handling filings within different jurisdictionsExperience with reviewing and analyzing legal documents, utilizing templates and standard formats and general business writingStrong analytical, organizational and research skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, meet strict deadlines and take direction from more senior paralegals and attorneysAbility to work independently and exercise sound judgmentStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skillsJob Expectations:This position is a non-negotiable hybrid work schedule, requiring 3 days in the office and allows for 2 days remoteParalegal certification may be required in some states Pay Range
