Overview
The Accelerate Supply Chain Leader (SCL) program is designed to provide the tools to become a successful Supply Chain Leader (SCL) in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. SCLs hold a key role in our organization and are responsible for leading our people to positively impact the overall department performance. SCLs lead our frontline in Maintenance, Receiving, Processing, Packaging, and Warehouse departments
We want experienced leaders who can grow our pipeline for various positions and are committed to elevating the Frito Lay supply chain. SCL's are responsible for people and team development, motivating the team and ensuring quality performance. Responsibilities include cost efficiency, continuous improvement on processes, service, and safety for an entire business unit across all shifts. Responsibilities include achieving site performance for uptime, equipment reliability, overall equipment effectiveness, and building/grounds maintenance. This role will also coach team members to utilize the processes and facilitate problem solving on the floor
This role will cover a 2nd shift schedule: Monday to Friday from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Responsibilities
Identify and coordinate improvements in the operations area necessary to meet the variance commitments for the plant and cost objectives. Ensure that cost gaps are identified, action plans developed, and adequate resources allocated to meet all financial objectives, costs, inventory, time, quality, and key performance indicatorsProvide a work environment which adheres to all compliance and regulatory guidelinesMaintain an effective performance management process reviewing all direct reports' progress against mid-year and annual plans and continually develop their effectiveness as leaders and technical practitioners, as well as providing opportunity for career developmentDevelop team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goalsDeliver effective change leadership, driving business changes while minimizing people impactCommunicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist team to solve operational issuesMotivate team members to achieve plan goalsLead the identification and elimination of losses resulting in improvements in costs, inventory, time and quality.Provide active leadership, while leveraging recognition/appreciation programs, in the effort to drive the culture for your team and the facility.Administer policies and proceduresRegular and predictable attendance at the work siteThis role requires regular presence on the plant floorThis role may operate manufacturing equipment occasionallyThis role may require off-shift and weekend work Compensation and Benefits:
The expected compensation range for this position is between $66,300 - $111,000Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Bachelor's degree (preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar field) or equivalent experience required2+ years of experience in manufacturing or operations requiredAbility to manage multiple projects of varying priorities simultaneouslyAbility to interface effectively with plant personnel, outside contractors and different functional groups within the business unitsDemonstrated leadership in safety complianceStrong innovative focus with proven ability to affect sustainable changeStrong influence management and communication skills, ability to gain organizational buy-inHigh levels of analytical and financial skills, ability to use data to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities and accurately assess financial impactsProficient in Microsoft Suite applicationsAbility to lead a team-based approach to decision makingDemonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment EEO Statement
