HIRING MULTIPLE CANDIDATES
Warehouse/Driver associates at Famous Supply are responsible for Warehouse and Driving Duties.
Warehouse tasks include;
Unloading trucksReceiving materialPut-away of materialPicking customer ordersStaging customer orders for deliveryLoading customer delivery trucks
Non-CDL Drivers at Famous Supply make deliveries to customer shops and/or job sites using a 26-foot box truck with a lift gate. Each morning, the driver’s route for the day is uploaded onto a company-provided Smartphone that navigates the driver to each stop. Drivers are responsible for assisting with the loading of their truck and reviewing orders prior to delivery to ensure accuracy. Driver associates assist in the warehouse when needed.
Note: Famous Supply Drivers will handle large products such as water heaters, furnaces and showers.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Warehouse
Ensuring product is handled with care to prevent damageAttention to detail to ensure warehouse tasks listed above are done accuratelyKeeping warehouse clean, neat and organized
Driver
Help load truckUse Smartphone to navigate to stops on-timeUnload materials for customerVerify delivery for accuracyProvide friendly and helpful customer servicePre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
Required Experience and Skills
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.Ability to stand on feet for majority of an 8 hour dayAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to drive large vehiclesAcceptable driving record
Preferred Experience and Skills
Forklift experienceCustomer service experienceBuilding industry experience and requisite product knowledgeExperience working in a warehouseExperience using RF Scanners
