Position Highlights
Work Type: Full-Time Hospitalist Shifts: 10 required shifts per month(including resident precepting) Academic Time: Up to 20 hours per month of academic administrative time Patient Volume: Approximately 16-18 patients per day Academic Responsibilities
Didactics: Present one 1-hour lecture per month (Wednesday afternoons) Serve as preceptor for the remaining 3 hours of didactics that day Committee Participation: Attend GMEC, PEC, CCC, or advisor meetings (remote or in-person) Clinic Precepting (PRN): Provide precepting support at the CFM clinic as needed No regular outpatient schedule required Program Support: Serve as a preceptor for Family Medicine residents Participate in academic meetings, curriculum activities, and residency development Procedures Performed
Joint injections Womens health procedures Skin biopsy Treatment of benign lesions Central lines and intubationsExperience & Preferred Background
Previous experience as an educator or strong interest in teaching Ability to thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment Commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and continuity of care Strong clinical and diagnostic skills Requirements
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Family Medicine Eligible for or able to obtain state medical licensure Interest in academic medicine and resident education What We Offer
