Main duties of the job As a Healthcare Assistant at Elysium Healthcare, located in Charlwood, you will work as part of a dedicated team to provide care to individuals with Mental Health conditions. The role involves ward rounds, analyzing patient behaviors, updating records, and offering support which may include assisting with personal hygiene. With a focus on improving lives, you will work to support patients along their recovery journey. The position requires a positive attitude, compassion, and resilience. This temporary role includes a 12.5-hour shift pattern, 3-4 days a week, including nights and weekends. The shift pattern is 12.5 hours a day, 3-4 days a week including nights and weekends.

Location: Farmfield Drive, Charlwood, Surrey, RH6 0BN
You will be working at Farmfield Hospital, located next to Gatwick. You’ll be caring for adult men 18+ who potentially have a forensic background and enduring mental health illnesses such as personality disorder, substance misuse issues and challenging behaviours.

Experience as a Healthcare Assistant is beneficial. A caring nature, resilience, and ability to work in a challenging environment are essential. Training and career development opportunities are provided.
