Job summary

House Keeper Band 2 - up to 18 hours - Coronary Care Unit, WCH

Coronary Care Unit is an 8 bedded unit.

Coronary Care are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and committed House Keeper to join our friendly team at the West Cumberland Hospital.

Main duties of the job

The job involves serving all meals, ensuring hand hygiene to patients has been completed and to offer and serve drinks to patients. This role also requires you to help patients with feeding who may not be able to feed themselves. Have an understanding of allergy's and special diets.

Following meal times you will keep nursing staff updated about patients dietary intake and complete food diaries.

The role also involves keeping the kitchen clean according to trust guidelines and stock control of kitchen and ward supplies.

The role includes providing assistance as requested to patients and other staff working in the department.

Qualifications Essential
