About the Role : In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions that form the core of our SaaS offerings. You will collaborate in our cross-functional team to solve complex technical challenges and help shape our technical direction. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on products used by businesses throughout the UK and in time, beyond. You will get the opportunity to work with and learn about AI, using it to help you problem solve but also embedding it into our products.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure software solutionsWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to best practicesParticipate in architectural decisions and help establish technical standardsConduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharingDebug complex issues across various layers of the application stackCollaborate with the product owner and team to refine requirements and provide technical insightsUse AI tooling to help efficiently deliver for our customers while embedding AI into our products and servicesParticipate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectivesContribute to continuous improvement of development processes and practicesStay current with emerging technologies and industry trendsLead or contribute to technical documentation effortsHelp the team support the production environmentRequirements
5+ years of professional software development experienceStrong proficiency in C#, JavaScript and Typescripts and ReactExperience with.NET Core, ReduxSolid understanding of software design patterns and principles (SOLID, DRY, etc.)Experience with relational databases and NoSQL databases, specifically MS SQL server and MongoDBKnowledge of RESTful API design and implementationFamiliarity with cloud platforms (preferably AWS)Experience with version control systems (preferably Git)Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesAbility to write automated tests (unit, integration, etc.)Experience working in an agile development environment
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
